Before Gravity re-positioned the Colet Court Building into a ‘boutique’ workspace, it was an unloved period school building with low rents and continuous tenant churn. Following our refurbishment strategy the building has enjoyed healthy occupancy, improved retention and achieves higher rents for our client.
Gravity’s strategy centered on highlighting key features of Colet Court, such as the central staircase and spacious reception area. We reinforced the aesthetic with new cornices, traditional lighting, broadloom carpet, vibrant wallpaper and the introduction of feature artworks.
The logo is a classical, mirrored, balanced style and used in combination with a contemporary vermillion background. The result is a striking reflection of the interior styling and brand positioning.
Tired Victorian tiles were covered by new carpet, creating a much more welcoming entrance. The old reception desk was removed and replaced with new joinery that matched the timber patina of the traditional feature staircase.
Gravity's range of services includes interior design, project management, identity, signage systems and environmental art. We know how to transform tired buildings, turning them into engaging, vibrant and creative spaces. Please take a look at the projects below to see further examples of our work.
